Help us shelter vulnerable kids from the storms of life…

What does a desperate child do while he waits for a sponsor? He thanks God for your “shelter” gift, providing a place of refuge from abuse, poverty, malnutrition, exploitation ¬– even war. We’re doing our best to find sponsors…in the meantime you can help us start them on the road to bright futures while they wait!

Kids Alive's work in Taiwan

Taiwan is an island nation less than half the size of the state of Indiana, about 100 miles off the southeast coast of China. Kids Alive International began our ministry to Taiwan in 1971 with the opening of the Onesiphorus Polio Home to care for children suffering from polio.

When the polio vaccine became more available, the home shifted its focus to caring for children from dysfunctional family backgrounds and children disabled by other diseases or accidents. The name was later changed to the Onesiphorus Children’s Home.

Our Anderson Graduate Ministry extends care for adult graduates with physical challenges and assists the transition into independent adulthood.
